Condition: This work is in excellent condition with a recent conservator report available upon request. Framed in an original faux bakelite Art Deco wooden frame. It is glazed with anti-reflective UV-resistant invisible museum ArtGlass AR99.
Provenance: Private Collection Sydney Australia.

About: This Australian Heidelberg School painting is of Beaumaris and its coastal scenery which has attracted many artists. The unique landscape has led to some of the most important works in Australian Impressionism and helped forge the success of some of Australia’s most prominent and respected artists of the late 19th to early 20th century. These include Arthur Streeton, Tom Roberts, Fredrick McCubin along with the Boyd family to name but a few.
