A visit to the gallery will not disappoint, all visitors are warmly welcomed to our gallery in The Trust Building just a few minutes’ walk from the Art Gallery of New South Wales, which has a wonderful collection. Situated in the historic Rocks district, the Museum of Contemporary Art is also within walking distance, as is the Australian Museum, the Museum of Sydney and the State Library of NSW.

Who we are, where we are…

Peter Wright

Peter has of 30 years business experience as an illustrator and designer. He is a lifelong collector and dealer of paintings, period drawings and prints, both in Australia and the United Kingdom. Peter was a founding partner of the Sydney gallery Badger & Fox. He subsequently established Paintings Drawings Prints, which was later named Wright Gallery Fine Art.

Christopher Wright

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National Art School, Sydney. He majored in painting and art history, and he brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to Wright Gallery Fine Art. One of Christopher’s main responsibilities is the research of unknown works that the gallery acquires.

The Gallery

The Trust Building, a beautiful heritage-listed building in the heart of the Sydney CBD at 155 King Street, Sydney, where you can browse and discuss gallery works obligation-free in the ambience of a time past. The gallery is easily accessible with plenty of metered parking, several parking stations, buses and St James and Martin Place stations on our doorstep.

What’s New… a quick look at recent additions to the gallery!

Possibly Dutch, late 19th-century, oil on cedar panel impressionist paintings. We are currently researching these paintings. Cleaned and newly framed behind museum anti-reflective glass. These are very impressive works and are available for purchase.
